Psalms 111
1Praise Yahweh. 1 I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart 1 in the assembly of the upright, in their gathering. 1
2The works of Yahweh are great, 1 eagerly awaited by all those who desire them. 1
3His work is majestic and glorious, 1 and his righteousness endures forever. 1
4He does wonderful things that will be remembered; 1 Yahweh is gracious and merciful. 1
5He gives food to his faithful followers. 1 He will always call to mind his covenant. 1
6He showed his powerful works to his people 1 in giving them the inheritance of the nations. 1
7The works of his hands are trustworthy and just; 1 all his instructions are reliable. 1
8They are established forever, 1 to be observed faithfully and properly. 1
9He gave victory to his people; 1 he ordained his covenant forever; 1 holy and awesome is his name. 1
10To honor Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom; 1 those who carry out his instructions have good understanding. 1 His praise endures forever.
