Psalms 65
For you, God in Zion, our praise waits; 1 our vows will be carried out to you. 1
You who hear prayer, 1 to you all flesh will come. 1
Iniquities prevail against us; 1 as for our transgressions, you will forgive them. 1
Blessed is the man whom you choose to bring near to you 1 so that he may live in your courts. 1 We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, 1 your holy temple. 1
In righteousness you will answer us by doing amazing things, 1 God of our salvation; 1 you who are hope of all the ends of the earth 1 and of those who are far across the sea. 1
For it is you who made the mountains firm, 1 you who are belted with strength. 1
It is you who quiet the roaring of the seas, 1 the roaring of their waves, 1 and the commotion of the peoples. 1
Those who live in the uttermost parts of the earth are afraid of the evidence of your deeds; 1 you make the east and the west rejoice. 1
You come to help the earth; you water it; 1 you greatly enrich it; 1 the river of God is full of water; 1 you provide mankind grain when you have prepared the earth. 1
You water its furrows abundantly; 1 you settle down the furrows' ridges; 1 you make them soft with rain showers; 1 you bless the sprouts between them. 1
You crown the year with your goodness, 1 and your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. 1
The pastures in the wilderness drip with dew, 1 and the hills are clothed with joy. 1
The pastures are clothed with flocks; 1 the valleys also are covered over with grain; 1 they shout for joy, and they sing.
