Psalms 23

1Yahweh is my shepherd; I will lack nothing. 1

2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; 1 he leads me beside tranquil water. 1

3He brings back my life; 1 he guides me along right paths for his name's sake. 1

4Even though I walk through a valley of darkest shadow, 1 I will not fear harm since you are with me; 1 your rod and your staff comfort me. 1

5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; 1 you have anointed my head with oil; 1 my cup runs over. 1

6Surely goodness and covenant faithfulness will pursue me all the days of my life; 1 and I will live in the house of Yahweh for a very long time!
