Psalms 95

Oh come, let us sing to Yahweh; 1 let us sing joyfully to the rock of our salvation. 1

Let us enter his presence with thanksgiving; 1 let us sing to him with psalms of praise. 1

For Yahweh is a great God 1 and a great King superior to all gods. 1

In his hand are the depths of the earth; 1 the heights of the mountains are his. 1

The sea is his, for he made it, 1 and his hands formed the dry land. 1

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; 1 let us kneel before Yahweh, our Creator: 1

For he is our God, 1 and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. 1 Today—oh, that you would hear his voice! 1

“Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah, 1 or as on the day of Massah in the wilderness, 1

where your forefathers tested me 1 and tried me, though they had seen my deeds. 1

For forty years I was angry with that generation 1 and said, 'This is a people whose hearts wander astray; 1 they have not known my ways.' 1

Therefore I vowed in my anger 1 that they would never enter into my resting place.”
