Psalms 126

1When Yahweh restored the fortunes of Zion, 1 we were like those who dream. 1

2Then our mouths were filled with laughter 1 and our tongues with singing. 1 Then they said among the nations, 1 “Yahweh has done great things for them.” 1

3Yahweh did great things for us; 1 how glad we were! 1

4Restore our fortunes, Yahweh, 1 like the streams in the Negev. 1

5Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy. 1

6He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, 1 will return again with shouts of joy, bringing his bundles of grain with him.
