Psalms 92
It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh 1 and to sing praises to your name, Most High, 1
to proclaim your covenant faithfulness in the morning 1 and your truthfulness every night, 1
with a harp of ten strings 1 and with the melody of the lyre. 1
For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your deeds. 1 I will sing for joy because of the deeds of your hands. 1
How great are your deeds, Yahweh! 1 Your thoughts are very deep. 1
A brutish person does not know, 1 nor does a fool understand this: 1
When the wicked sprout like the grass, 1 and even when all the evildoers thrive, 1 still they are doomed to eternal destruction. 1
But you, Yahweh, will reign forever. 1
Indeed, look at your enemies, Yahweh! 1 Indeed, look at your enemies. They will perish! 1 All those who do evil will be scattered. 1
You have lifted up my horn like the horn of the wild ox; 1 I am anointed with fresh oil. 1
My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; 1 my ears have heard of the doom of my evil foes. 1
The righteous will flourish like the palm tree; 1 they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 1
They are planted in the house of Yahweh; 1 they flourish in the courts of our God. 1
They bear fruit even when they are old; 1 they stay fresh and green, 1
to proclaim that Yahweh is just. 1 He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
