Psalms 145
1I will extol you, my God, King; 1 I will bless your name forever and ever. 1
2Every day will I bless you; 1 I will praise your name forever and ever. 1
3Great is Yahweh and greatly to be praised; 1 his greatness is unsearchable. 1
4One generation will praise your deeds to the next 1 and will proclaim your mighty actions. 1
5I will meditate on the majesty of your glory 1 and on your marvelous deeds. 1
6They will speak of the power of your awesome works, 1 and I will declare your greatness. 1
7They will declare your abounding goodness, 1 and they will sing about your righteousness. 1
8Yahweh is gracious and merciful, 1 slow to anger and abounding in covenant faithfulness. 1
9Yahweh is good to all; 1 his tender mercies are over all his works. 1
10All you have made will give thanks to you, Yahweh; 1 your faithful ones will bless you. 1
11Your faithful ones will speak of the glory of your kingdom, 1 and they will tell of your power. 1
12They will make known to mankind God's mighty deeds 1 and the glorious splendor of his kingdom. 1
13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, 1 and your dominion endures throughout all generations. 1
14Yahweh supports all who are falling 1 and raises up all those who are bent over. 1
15The eyes of all wait for you; 1 you give them their food at the right time. 1
16You open your hand 1 and satisfy the desire of every living thing. 1
17Yahweh is righteous in all his ways 1 and gracious in all he does. 1
18Yahweh is near to all those who call to him, 1 to all who call to him in trustworthiness. 1
19He fulfills the desire of those who honor him; 1 he hears their cry and saves them. 1
20Yahweh watches over all those who love him, 1 but he will destroy all the wicked. 1
21My mouth will speak out the praise of Yahweh; 1 let all mankind bless his holy name forever and ever.
