Psalms 108
My heart is fixed, God; 1 I will sing, yes, I will sing praises also with my honored heart. 1
Wake up, lute and harp; 1 I will wake up the dawn. 1
I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the peoples; 1 I will sing praises to you among the nations. 1
For your covenant faithfulness is great above the heavens; 1 and your trustworthiness reaches to the skies. 1
Be exalted, God, above the heavens, 1 and may your glory be exalted over all the earth. 1
So that those you love may be rescued, 1 rescue us with your right hand and answer me. 1
God has spoken in his holiness; “I will rejoice; 1 I will divide Shechem and apportion out the Valley of Succoth. 1
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; 1 Ephraim also is my helmet; 1 Judah is my scepter. 1
Moab is my washbasin; 1 over Edom I will throw my shoe; 1 I will shout in triumph because of Philistia. 1
Who will bring me into the strong city? 1 Who will lead me to Edom?” 1
God, have you not rejected us? 1 You do not go into battle with our army. 1
Give us help against the enemy, 1 for man's help is futile. 1
We will triumph with God's help; 1 he will trample down our enemies.
