Psalms 25
1To you, Yahweh, I lift up my life! 1
2My God, I trust in you. 1 Do not let me be humiliated; 1 do not let my enemies rejoice triumphantly over me. 1
3May no one who hopes in you be disgraced 1 may those who act treacherously without cause be ashamed! 1
4Make known to me your ways, Yahweh; 1 teach me your paths. 1
5Guide me into your truth and teach me, 1 for you are the God of my salvation; 1 I hope in you all day long. 1
6Call to mind, Yahweh, your acts of compassion and of covenant faithfulness; 1 for they have always existed. 1
7Do not think about the sins of my youth or my rebelliousness; 1 Call me to mind with covenant faithfulness because of your goodness, Yahweh! 1
8Yahweh is good and upright; 1 therefore he teaches sinners the way. 1
9He guides the humble in what is right 1 and he teaches them his way. 1
10All the paths of Yahweh are steadfast love and faithfulness 1 to those who keep his covenant and his solemn commands. 1
11For your name's sake, Yahweh, 1 pardon my sin, for it is great. 1
12Who is the man who fears Yahweh? 1 The Lord will instruct him in the way that he should choose. 1
13His life will go along in goodness; 1 and his descendants will inherit the land. 1
14The friendship of Yahweh is for those who honor him, 1 and he makes his covenant known to them. 1
15My eyes are always on Yahweh, 1 for he will free my feet from the net. 1
16Turn toward me and have mercy on me; 1 for I am alone and afflicted. 1
17The troubles of my heart are enlarged; 1 draw me out from my distress! 1
18See my affliction and my toils; 1 forgive all my sins. 1
19See my enemies, for they are many; 1 they hate me with cruel hatred. 1
20Protect my life and rescue me; 1 do not let me be humiliated, for I take refuge in you! 1
21May integrity and uprightness preserve me, 1 for I hope in you. 1
22Rescue Israel, God, 1 from all of his troubles!
